This week is all about the third step ~ Practise.
By repeating the 4 Ps you are creating a new, effective way of thinking and doing. You are tapping into your superpower of neuroplasticity—your brain’s ability to change. You’re physically creating and strengthening new neural connections in your brain. And, this process helps maintain, improve and support all your efforts to boost your mental health and shift your perspective. Your mindfulness and awareness of all you’re reactions increase giving you one of the most effective solutions to any challenge or change you wish to address. There is also an extra bonus with this first step. The more developed the neural connections become, the quicker your brain becomes at accessing them. And, your recovery from stress becomes quicker.
You can expand on other possibilities, shift into a new perspective and get back to more important matters. You get the chance to repeat, rewrite and refine your perspectives.
Your mission this week is to pause, get new perspectives and keep practising. Let the neuroscience of your brain and body do the rest.
