Fascial Stretch Therapy

aka Frederick Stretch Therapy® FST

FST is a restorative,‘ assisted stretching’ method that focuses on stretching your entire body including your fascial system. It involves gentle movements of your limbs, spine, muscles and joints. FST creates freedom in movement in daily activities, sports and recreation. It also enhances other therapy modalities such as chiropractic, physiotherapy, massage therapy, etc.

What is fascia?

Fascia is the connective tissue that weaves through, supports and surrounds muscles, joints, ligaments, organs, cells, and everything in between. As well as being a fundamental component of our bodies it is an important factor in maintaining health, well-being and optimal physical function. If it’s restricted due to injury, immobility, or lifestyle; daily movement is diminished. Pain and tension are often the result.

SMALL BALL MYOFASCIAL RELEASE PROGRAM

Experience what it feels like to release your fascial system on your own! Through the use of small soft spiky balls and a specific routine, you’ll learn how to tap into your fascial system and have total control over the amount of release that suits your body best.
