What if you could follow a blueprint to ensure your dreams come true?
A blueprint that allows you to visualize and feel what it would be like to be in your dream.
A blueprint that allows you to make a step-by-step plan to pursue this dream.
The first step to all of this is to figure out where you are in your brain.
Daydreaming about the future is in the default mode network.
Working on a task is the task-positive network.
Start to notice the difference between the two?
Remember is is fairly easy to determine which network you’re activating.
We are mostly in the default mode network until we do a task.
Alright here’s your blueprint.
Find a quiet room for this exercise.
Designate a place to sit or stand and dream.
Designate a place to write down your tasks and goals.
Go to your dream place first, simply begin to visualize and feel the emotions of your dream.
Ask yourself:
What’s possible?
What does my future look like?
What is my dream?
Move to the other side of your room and write down: the specific dream.
Ask yourself:
What is the importance of this dream?
What is my goal?
What are 1-3 things I can do in my step-by-step plan?
Come back to this blueprint and apply it to any area of your life and work.
Practise.
Any time you notice feelings of worry/anxiousness STOP and step over to the other side of the room.
There is no set time to spend in either one or in doing both at one sitting.
Go with your instinct and be aware of any feelings of worry or mental exhaustion/anxiousness.
Here’s what’s happening in your brain:
Integrating the two networks of your brain increases effective thinking. The more you practise, the more you create strong, well-developed thought pathways which will be at the ready whenever you need it.
You’ll be able to quickly move and activate either one.
Why on earth does this matter?
When you take advantage of both networks, your awareness of when and how to activate them increases and you reduce feelings of worry and mental exhaustion.
And, you develop a blueprint for making your dreams come true.
Let the neuroscience of your brain do the rest.
Until we meet in Person.
Brain to Brain.
Heart to Heart.
Ciao!
