March 10, 2025
Tapping into your brain’s default mode to reset your energy and your day.
Do you ever feel exhausted at certain times of the day?
Try daydreaming.
Dream of a perfect vacation or the up coming weekend.
Day dreaming is a healthy, important brain function.
It gives you a quick boost of dopamine, the “feel-good” hormone, and helps reduce stress, making it easier to think clearly again.
When we daydream and let our minds wander we’re in the brain’s default mode network.
As soon as we think on a specific task we’re in our task positive network.
Staying too long here leads to burnout as it tends to drains our energy levels.
So, why not take advantage of your brain’s default mode?
Daydream your way to happiness and return to the present with clearer thoughts, emotions, and actions.
Let your brilliant brain and bold body do the rest.
